With 2018 just starting off it’s time to work on coming up with a set of goals both personally and professionally. Along the way I’ll do my best to keep this up to date with my current status.

Personally:

• Lose about 30-40 lbs
• Continue photography, would be really awesome to get a nice photo of the galaxy
• Get a photo of the Northern Lights during my trip to Iceland
• Live life to the fullest in 2018

Professionally:

Continue reading at least one book a quarter for professional development

1. Cloud Native Infrastructure by Justin Garrison and Kris Nova - Completed November 2017
2. Code Complete 2nd Edition by Steve McConnell

• Lead one or more training courses at work
• Continue to commit open source tools/scripts to help manage cloud infrastructure
• Possibly reimplement the go redirector in Golang (something I keep meaning to do but never get around to)

Continue to network with engineers and others in the industry from all around the Seattle Area.
